Dongwha Electrolyte, a battery materials affiliate of Dongwha Enterprise, said Wednesday that it has signed a letter of intent with Elementium Materials to form a strategic partnership aimed at expanding the global market share of its new electrolyte product.

Elementium is a U.S. company that has addressed the limitations of conventional carbonate-based electrolytes by developing a new product with improved flame resistance, battery safety, energy density and charging speed. The core material of this electrolyte has been awarded a patent. READ MORE
